Awful week is over

Aloha I am back with a random post! *smile*

I spent a pleasant and happy weekend because I rest a lot! Lol..but still have marketing plan to submit next week..people start worrying about it in fact I can still honeymoon now..that means the day before which is coming Thursday the fire will be burning my ass already..or may be I am confident to my group la..hmmm..Lol..*thick skin*

Besides, the loved one will be back on Friday to vote. Hopefully he manages to grab himself a bus ticket..haha..well..everyone is going back hometown to vote right..I assume! Which one am I going to vote?

Bought a book as well from MPH to spend my BR1M vouchers! Still left RM100 but I have decided what to buy with RM50..the book is in Kinokuniya..waiting for me to collect! Woohoo.."I am coming to you my book, no worries.." *talking to the book* lol..it delivered all the way from Hong Kong lo..Thanks Kinokuniya for your super efficient service! I love you!

Those books that I choose makes me feel like I am an entrepreneur! Lol..

But end up buying this! Lol..

Next time if any of you want to order books from overseas..feel free to call Kinokuniya, they may help you to send the book here if they dealing with the publishers instead of you buying online! Cz I realized international shipping is expensive! I asked Popular, they didn't stock from that publisher..Booooo~

Then yesterday "nua" the whole day at home..Ahh..I remember what I did yesterday...was online shopping! Ended up buying nothing..hahahaha..and decided not to buy clothes from online boutique already cz those clothes selling almost the same price like retail so no point buying online.

Furthermore, you don't get to try them on..so I rather not to take the risk. Yea I agree shopping online is suitable for those who are busy, not able and no time for retail shopping..but I have extra time ma..so rather buy from retail! Even it is selling a little bit more expensive also worth of it cz I get to see the material and try it on! ^^

Mask on Friday night! Hope I don't scare you away! Haha..love beauty diary mask! 

Alright then this morning went to hiking with the girls..aiyo..sorry no photos of us..cz ugly so no one mentioning about taking group picture..lol..we took pictures of our food only..Haha! Saja go hiking cz long time didn't meet them already and the past one week was busy with assignments so wish to get some refreshing air..ahhhh....

Then off to The Mugshot again for their yummylicious yogurt! It tasted so good lo..fyi RM10 each..however is nice so is worth it la! *wink* 

Kuantan Road curry mee and Joez coconut shake the next stop! Yoohoo..the coconut shake is nice..loving it! Will drop by some time again to ta pao! Hehe..RM3.80 each! We ordered less sweet cz others review saying is too sweet..

End with a vain photo of myself! Haha..sorry you read this post then you are force to see this..just two filters *edit the colour only lo* and it makes me look so pretty! *Beh paiseh* Hahahaha...So never believed girls' photos from the Internet! Lol..

#3 近期超乏味的生活

刚睡醒，整个人还很懵，头很重，不懂是不是天气的关系，很闷，很热。

最经生活整个很暴躁，心情很容易不好，时不时会发脾气，生活整个很没动力，没正能量。

这一，两个礼拜就一直在做作业，考试，生活乏味至极，以前做活动，忙归忙，但是过得很好玩，很有满足感，虽然也是必须考试，但至少没那么沉闷。

其实，我根本不懂自己近期在想些什么，连要更新部落格的动力也没有。不敢说这是过渡期，因为连我自己也不知道。看着部落格的traffic越来越少也不敢去想，不想在这时候给自己除了课业上的压力，因为我知道这些是由不得我控制的。知道自己更新的topic很沉闷，但是没办法啊，部落格的心情是随着部落客的心情改变嘛！装不来的。

可能这学期的作业太忙了，上个学期也是做作业，不过上学期的作业没那么繁重和乏味，这学期的功课太多了，每一个礼拜都要交，而且deadline都差不多挤在同一个时候，真的很累。可能是那些也不是自己喜欢的科目，所以才做得那么辛苦。

连gym都没时间去，一去通常会去两个钟头半，想都没得想。可以更新部落格已经很对得起自己了。有时候觉得自己运动可以让整个人比较轻松，好过每天很懵懂的过日子。这几天应该会抽些时间去做做运动，希望这个人不会那么死气沉沉，连打扮自己都不想。现在上课像去菜市场买菜的auntie一样，跟我前半个学期不一样。真的女生心情不好从打扮真的可以看得出来。根本都不敢想自己肥了，不想让自己不开心去烦恼些无谓的东西。

念完了日子还是要过，希望过了deadline submission，可以比较开心些吧！

Breakfast @ Irrawaddy Fine Foods, Penang

Last week, after boyfriend's hair cut was looking around for lunch at Irrawaddy area. Right before we leave, he saw a notice board outside That Little Wine Bar with their lunch menu. Out of expectation, their lunch served is cheap. So decision made!

Actually one week before he came back, I was craving for their Mushroom Quiche and he had made dinner reservation the night before we have our lunch here but at last we didn't make it.

Luckily we failed to do so cz when we saw their lunch menu, they served Mushroom Quiche as well but the price is half of the dinner menu! I was like "WHAT?! I want to lunch here!"

The appealing part is that the food served is the same. Meaning if you come for dinner, you are paying double of the price to get the same food! Lol..

I crave for it because last year we celebrated our Valentine's in That Little Wine Bar and I had Mushroom Quiche that night. Loving the rich cheesy flavour! Yummy!

Irrawaddy Fine Foods is operating under That Little Wine Bar restaurant. It used to be the restaurant beside AHMO but later on they moved here mainly serving lunch and night time all the table settings will change into That Little Wine Bar interior. 

Hot Lunches, sandwiches, cakes, desserts and drinks to choose from. With the kind of fine dining environment, the price of the food served considered reasonable.

Spot their Wild Mushroom Soup at the corner? This mushroom soup is different compared to the ordinary one that you have in other restaurant. Usually those are creamy with strong wild mushroom flavour but the wild mushroom soup that you get here is clear soup based.

Strange huh? Never try this kind of mushroom soup before right? I had it during my Valentine's. Darling strongly recommend to try this and is true, it tasted different but I don't really remember how it tasted already. Anyway is a year ago so forgive me. You can try it yourself! :-)

They only served it for dinner menu.

Mushroom Quiche RM12 

Qiang qiang! This is the mushroom quiche that I liked! For dinner you will get it at RM28! O.O

So huge difference! Erm..I wasn't sure how should I describe the taste, I just know it tasted so heavenly good. Anyway I like it very much la! Haha..
The filling is very soft and cheesy with mushroom and again it melts in your mouth! My goodness! I super love this. Words solely can't describe how much I love! Haha..besides that, their salad served with very fresh lettuce and the vinegar match well with it. 

Lasagne RM7.90

Is so unbelievable to see such a generous portion of lasagne with RM7.90 in this kind of restaurant right? Is even cheaper than some of the western food stalls selling at hawker!
Needless to worry, even the price is cheap but the food served with assure quality! So next time I know where to head for lunch already! Hehe..cheap la wei and is really nice! Lol..

See the thick layer of lasagne with only RM7.90! How can you not try!! Super cheap la..next time have your lunch here before you head to Gurney for movie or shopping! Lol..

Wah! Heaven! I told you it melts in your mouth right! I wasn't lying lo..never lies when it comes to food! Yummy means yummy, awful means no second time! Lol..I tell the truth one!

But a friendly reminder, if you can't bare with cheese then is better that you share it with someone, if you love cheese then you must try this!! Anyway if you don't like it, please don't blame me since everyone has different preference in food but I strongly recommend this! Lol..

Recognized the location? It is located at Chow Thye road, same row with Jemputree and Isaribi Tei, you turn in from Harvest Inn, go straight then you will see this on your right. Everyone should be very familiar with this place la, AHMO, Victoria Rossa, Tong Pak Fu are all around!

Hotel 1926 just opposite the road! Main issue to dine here is hard to look for parking during lunch hour. :-( You have to figure out yourself already but parking never stops you from having good food right? Hehe..

Irrawaddy Fine Foods open from 10am to 4.30pm whereas night time it will operate as That Little Wine Bar. Their dinner nice as well. You can celebrate your Valentine's or birthday dinner here cz they have candle light setting so is very romantic la! Haha..so guys take note har..don't say I didn't tell you..another restaurant to dine in during big days! Hehe..

A'more di merrier At Italiannies Gurney Paragon

Was looking for some nice place to catch up with the girls, have no idea where to choose already, although people always say Penang has lots of good food but I really run out of ideas on any new places for gatherings or dinner at this moment. Anyone has any good recommendations? Lol..mind to share with me? 

I knew many cafes and restaurants in Penang but I don't really intend to try them all unless it is highly rated or recommendation by friends.  

So, last week as usual girl friends was asking me where to eat..lol..thinking of going to Sushi Zento or Italiannies Paragon. Heard that food in Italiannies KL was nice so we have made up our mind to go for Italiannies. Anyway it was a pleasant experience dining here. 

First you will be served with french toast dipped with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Those Italian style starter..lol! Is my first time trying it, not bad actually. Mei Xun keep adding the vinegar cz she claimed that the vinegar tasted too mild. Lol..

Chicken Milanese *Signature*

RM24.90 Piccolo | Regular RM32.90 | Abbondanza RM48.90

Grilled chicken breast served over cream spinach, then topped with chilled tomato caper relish.

This is the Piccolo size for a person's serving, if you intend to share with others then is better for you to order regular for two person servings! Mei Xun loves her meal but to me it was an above average. :-)

Seafood Risotto *Signature*
Regular RM36.90
A medley of seafood sauteed in white wine, with Arborio rice simmered in mussels and clam broth.

Oh my god, I mad love this! I never try Risotto from other Italian restaurants but this is really my favourite so far. The risotto fully absorbed the white wine so every mouthful is heavenly flavoursome! Clam juice adds a rich seafood taste to the cooking broth and the seafood itself releases liquids when cooked that are absorbed into the rice finishing the dish with a deep flavour. Awesome la..I liked it! Will go back again for sure just for the Seafood Risotto! Lol..Superb!

See how huge difference is the portion comparing both of us! Lol..The Seafood Risotto is mine and the right one belongs to Mei Xun. That's the reason why you see different figure of us! Lol..I have no choice cz mine has only one type of serving!

Spaghetti and Meatballs *Signature*

Italiannies famous huge homemade beef meatballs, served with spaghetti in our signature marinara sauce. 

Cheng ordered chicken that is why you don't see meatballs here so I can't share with you how it taste. Anyway, this is a piccolo size but serving is huge. The perfectly cooked pasta is firm but not hard with a slight bite. Anyone who had tried their homemade meatballs before is most welcome to share your experience with us in the comment box! We would like to know how it taste! ^^ 

There goes our catch up session plus dinner in Italiannies Paragon! Full Menu is available at Italiannies website. 

Overall it was a pleasant experience and we don't manage to try their pizza as we can't finish them all! I will certainly go back again!

It was unexpected to see the restaurant is nearly full during Friday night cz usually I don't see people in there when I passed by. Lol..So, to secure a best spot, I would advise you to make a reservation for an enjoyable dining!

Another place that I would recommend for nice pasta would be from Bella Italia..most of the Penangites know that, if you crave for pasta, go for Bella Italia! Lol..*sounds like their tagline*

Hey guys, I checked out my blog and realized I've achieved 30K views!

Thanks a lot for your support all these days!

I am glad that I've made it to 30K since last September, it has been 7 months old for this blog! ^^

I know 30K may be a small number to some of you but I am more than grateful for it.

I am not somebody who are pretty, fashionista, someone who portray themselves as a rich girl or what so ever..I am just an ordinary person who have been so passionate about her own blogging interest.

That is why I feel grateful that even I am not somebody but you are still with me. *kamsahapnida* *bow 90 degrees to you* haha..

Coincidentally, you just clicked my blog link while it showed up on your Facebook wall, or you are one of google search engines passer by looking for restaurant reviews, or my loyal readers! Despite which one are you belongs to, I feel thankful for that.

Generally, don't ever think that through blogging one's can earn anything extra in return, in fact it is not. I don't earn anything throughout this seven months, what drives me keep blogging is solely my passion.

I urge myself to update my blog at least twice a week even though I am busy with my assignments and outings, *kekeke* I usually draft it for at least 2 to 3 hours for food post, travel post before I published.

Yea I know is time consuming cz my English is poor so I have to spend extra time thinking of what is the proper word to use *poor vocabs la*. As I knew many people are interested about food post so I couldn't just simply published it for the sake of update and to gain traffic. It isn't the right way and there are many avid readers nowadays so we must be extra cautious when delivering.

And I don't believed one's couldn't spare only a few hours on a post apart from your tight schedule unless you have nothing to share with your readers. Hehe..sometimes outings can be one of your inspirations though! ^^

I always think that I am not somebody, seriously..*super common those type* so I always feel blessed and grateful from all the support from you guys! It motivates me to keep moving although I can't figure out whether you like my blog or not. :p

I am looking forward to my life in the future and I believed it will be a more interesting one so I hope you can stay in the same track with me along the way..like what I've mentioned in my tweet "I will regards humility as a virtue!"
