Sector Focused Career Fair in Universiti Sains Malaysia by TalentCorp Malaysia

I'm currently in Suria KLCC *10th of October 2.40pm* drafting this post. Going crazy soon because of my stupid laptop, got really fed up with it! Ahhh...I want to buy a new one! This has been creating so much problem for me! So geram! 

Will be in KL for the whole week to attend Global Startup Youth event. Really find time to sneak out to draft this post. As the hotel wifi is so slow hence I can't really do my things even I managed to go back to the hotel earlier.

Back to this post! The past Sunday before heading here, some of the Penang bloggers have been invited by Nuffnang to attend the Sector Focused Career Fair (SFCF) organized by TalentCorp Malaysia together with GRADUAN in USM! Haha..attending event in my own university feels kind of weird! Lol..

I think I should fulfill my role as a blogger to share briefly about the organizer TalentCorp Malaysia with my fellow university students *perhaps readers like you who may not heard or know about TalentCorp*.

"TalentCorp Malaysia is an organization under the Prime Minister's Department aim to introduce and implement facilitative policies and initiative to nurture, attract and retain top talent for Malaysia. They work closely with the private sector and engage with talents at home and abroad to promote the dynamic and diverse professional opportunities in Malaysia."

TalentCorp has been organizing plenty of SFCF in various public universities aim to educate local students on career paths available and provide a platform to students who intend to explore more on specific field such as Oil and Gas, Electronics and Electrical, IT, Telecommunication, Biotechnology, Finance, Accounting, Healthcare, Tourism, Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and Education.

Here's the booth of Industry Career Quiz (ICQ) which required students to answer 10 questions about Healthcare, Sciences and Social Sciences Industry with iPad. Those who answered 10 questions correctly within the shortest time given will be winning a brand new iPad and movie tickets.

Some of the participating booths. Pfizer is a biopharmaceutical company that has diversified health care portfolio includes human biological, small molecule medicines and vaccines. 

Frost and Sullivan Malaysia is one of the participating companies. They are one of the top notch consulting firm which provide consulting services including financial analysis, international comparative reports, employee training and client value enhancement seminars for more than 45 years. 

Career Talk is always one of the highlight in career fair, same goes to SFCF! En. Mohd Redzuan Mohd Sofian, the Senior Vice President of Business Eco System Division in IRDA is sharing about the Talent Landscape in Iskandar Malaysia. His insight is thoughtful and the sharing is really amusing!
