Sadly to say, I don't received OPI, L'occitane, Kerastase and other prestige cosmetic brand for this edition! :-( Most of them are Murad..

Road Trip to Burps & Giggles Ipoh

Hi all, 

Today we will be away from Penang and visit to the British colonial city of Ipoh!

I've been to Ipoh for quite some time but this is my first time visiting this place! A cafe which is somehow quite similar to the concept that we have in Penang. It is the type of usual heritage house styled cafe which have lots of detail drawings on the wall, artwork, handicraft and a lot more!

They have three separate sections which is connected hence you can sit whichever sections that you prefer cz three of them are in fact different type of interior. I will talk less in this post cz the pictures speaks it all. :-)

Knew this place long ago but never thought that I would be visit here one day. Lol..

The menu is everywhere..even a small pink notes written OYSTER is selling here! 

Take note that the seats in the cafe is very limited, just be prepared you may have to wait to be seated. 

Outside of the washroom if I am not wrong! Lol..I think seriously if you fart in the toilet, outside may hear it! Gosh..cz is just next to the bricks wall!

Sweet Crepes

Fresh Strawberries, Hibiscus Curd and Vanilla Ice Cream RM13

The crepe is quite crispy and it stuffed with fresh strawberries so it tasted a bit sour. In fact, due to the sweetness of vanilla ice cream, it turns out to be very savoury. I personally quite favour with their crepes.

We search Burps & Giggles in GPS and we managed to reach here so I think it shouldn't be a problem for you in looking for the place! Here to show you some landmarks along the street.

They have two other restaurants in Ipoh as well and perhaps managing under the same owner? Not so sure. Indulgence gives you the fine dining experience and living.
Allegra is one-stop-joint selling gourmet snacks, fresh products and retail wines.
Burps and Giggles a chic and quirky type of cafe.
Three of them giving you a total new experience that you can ever get.
Visit them if you want! :-)

p/s Something that I don't really like about the cafe. When the cafe is full house and customers are waiting, the servers not even bother to greet you at all or showing their courtesy to their customers. In fact, they are just engaging with their work. This is not a proper manner working in a service industry. I guess some of the customers experiencing it as well and disappointed towards their poor service. If you really love this place, then would strongly encourage you to avoid dine in during peak hour.

A Short One

Alright, I know it has been a week I didn't update my blog!

Still pending with many backdated posts yet unwilling to update them.

Had been busy with outings for the whole week, feeling like settle down this week, hopefully no last minute outings again till this weekend!!

Glad that he is able to make it back to Penang on my short sem break! Requested for some pak tor moment with him. We have never watch movie together for some time already but I'm not interested to the movies showing lately. =="

Initially wanted to update my blog on last Thursday but last minute gathering called in. Mien came back to Penang and intend to meet up before she is leaving for Japan. Aww..so sad to see friends leaving..It always makes me feel awful. I don't like seeing people leaving..:-(

Anyway, we have a fun night staying up late in Kar Mun's place and baking the so-called chocolate cake by Joe Yin! We don't have any baking equipment like weight machine, therefore we just simply mix it up! Lol..

After we have done with all the stirring and mixing, baking time! BUT we found out that the oven is not working!! >< Hence, it turns out to bake with microwave..haha! And tadaa...here it is!

You say la they cute or not! Haha..I am so blessed to have them around! We just making so much fun and this Joe Yin super love teasing me one! Alright..I admit la..my antenna really short, always don't catch what they are saying...>< perhaps generation gaps la..opps!

Louis came back on Friday! He called to have lunch together..ok lo..travel all the way back to USM again to meet him..bo bian..he come back once a while only..if I can't make it then don't know when will be the next time meeting him already!

And again..this Louis always tease me as well..what I said, he also shoot back..把我的痛苦建立在他的快乐之上! T.T Gai not...

Later on, Mien suggest to take purikura together! I never take this kind of photos since secondary! I thought this photo booth has extinct in Penang cz the last one that I've seen in Queensbay has closed down!

Have so much fun taking purikura with them! They edited the photos so fast and pro lo..I have no idea how to edit it..they said have to spend money to learn one! Lol..

Can you see Jovan super charming eyes?! Haha..we didn't edit their eyes lo, it turns out naturally!
