I have been away for so long. Just back for a random post. Don't want to neglect it for too long. There is a blogger I look highly upon who is VivyYusof. I always ask myself she has so many commitments yet she manage to update her blog regularly but why can't I? Guendeline, reasons banyak banyak la..

This is the update of these recent weeks. I have my HAIR COLOURED! Soo happy! It is FREE and I'm using L'Oreal Professionnel colour that frequently use by hairstylists in salon! So great! 

Who wants to have your hair coloured free and you are available during weekday in KL, do let me know. We will need hair models regularly so feel free to drop me a message or email if you are interested! 

My hair done by Sher from Centro Hair Salon! Love it so much! Thanks for the dark brown hair colour! Wanted to try darker tone and it's like finally!

It used to be like this, ugly right?! Gold colour, yucks! Don't bleach your hair, if not you will turn out like mine! The gold base is always there. ><

Lynn from UM. A girl used to be my blog reader. She left me a comment in my blog then later on she followed me in Twitter then now we are friends! Lol..long story! I invited her as well for the hair colour training. She has virgin hair and she loves the outcome! 

Few days later, went to Harper's Bazaar event. Working in PPD managed to attend magazine events or all kinds of exclusive invited events but erm..I need to buy clothes whereby is so expensive! High maintenance ahh...

Then is my fourth week in KL so is time to go back home! I will be back once a month. :-)
Last two weeks was my dad's birthday so we had dinner in Yea First Avenue cz all the buffet dinner in hotel are fully booked.

Last Saturday went to Kampar for his graduation ceremony in Utar. Darling, finally you have graduated! I have tons of pictures but I don't think I will upload them in my own profile anyway is not my graduation what..is kind of weird to upload pictures on behalf of him. Lol..

Discover the CEO in you by Axiata University Young Leadership Programme 2013

Aloha I'm back in action! Anyone out there still remember I own a blog? Lol..

Just came back from 15 days Axiata University Young Leadership Programme 2013. The experiences and friendship gained is priceless. :-)

Story begins 17 days ago. I have no idea who else is joining except Derek and I. Feeling uneasy to go to a new environment for so long to undergo intensive training. We didn't know the itinerary until we step in the resort for the first briefing. So it is quite uneasy before the trip as we have no idea what's happening soon in the next 15 days. On top of that, none of the corporations organize such a long training programme before so no one has any ideas what's going to happen next.

First day when we arrived in Axiata building. Mingling around with Malaysian undergraduate students from every part of the world. 

Opening speeches by the CEO and so on. It is also our first time meeting up together. 

Arrived at Eagle Ranch Resort, Port Dickson after the opening in Axiata. Everyone looking fresh still. We have been given goodies bag and been informed about the itinerary for the upcoming 15 days. There are total 3 business simulation games and a CEO Challenge at the end of the programme. That means all of us have to undergo super intense and tough programme throughout the days spend in Port Dickson. 

Camera recording everywhere. We are like superstar and being pampered so much in the Axiata camp. Lol..

The first business simulation game, The Conglomerate carried out on the third day. We were given several tasks to be completed within a time frame. For instances, a budget need to be completed within 45 minutes. >< Then we have present to the clients. We received 3 to 4 tasks in a day and need to present the whole business idea to the clients in the next day. Throughout the game, there will be uncertainties happen such as inflation and some of the unforeseen circumstances but we have to manage it well. 

We need to buy the materials to make a prototype of our product for the presentation. This is why we have to plan our budget well. 

The business simulation is so tough as we didn't expect everything has to be done within time allocated and need to present every single tasks to the clients so apparently we are working under stress to meet the deadline. During that period of time, I'm really stressed out and those who followed me on Twitter knows it best. On top of this, we are still new to each other but we need to adapt it quickly cz the entire business simulation taken one and a half day only.  

The next day shooting for our billboard poster and record the radio commercial. 

p/s Unable to upload our radio commercial cz it is in audio form and my windows movie makers doesn't work well so I have no idea how to convert mp4 into video. Aiks..

At the end of the day, our group, Idea Factory won the business simulation 1, thanks to all for the hard work and sacrifice our lunch break to complete this. Ours is the green colour drinks named ZenFizz. We have cute radio commercial but unfortunately the file is too large so can't share it with you guys. :-(

We have rooftop dinner the night before business simulation one. So so much fun spending my holiday with you guys!

The second business simulation which is The Step. We have been asked to separate into two groups to build the base and rocket. All the materials used need to be spent in a limited budget and be quick because the resources is limited and other groups needed it as well. The challenging part is no communication between the rocket and base team. So we just build solely based on the specifications given.

Compass Team Building on the first day! We have to follow the lead then find the checkpoint according to the coordinate given. We have been given only a few torchlights so you have to trust your team members in front of you.

Sea Water Rafting Team Building. Build the raft by ourselves.

Movie night! KFC and Magnum as dessert after meal. Axiata treat us so well..pampered us like a kid!

Our team prepare the last simulation until 2am. There are not only fun moments as you see through the pictures, sleepless nights are uncountable as well. Besides that, many guys have fallen sick in the last few days. Ones need to be mentally and physically strong to endure throughout the camp. 

Fine dining grooming and etiquette being taught by Ms Josephine. As the theme of this programme is "Discover the CEO in you". Hence, CEO must be well groomed for fine dining. Axiata seriously designed the whole programme to groom us as a future CEO. How lucky we are!

Preparing for the CEO Challenge! At the end of the programme, we have already immune to the deadlines given. As we have gone through 3 business simulations, honestly speaking, many of us think that CEO Challenge is not as tense as compared to the third simulation. Indeed, it is fun!

I miss working with team Rendezvous! Designed our print ad, TV Commercial, website in two days! Kudos to all the participants! We are the best! We have been trained to work under stress. Lol..

So fun working together! Miss you guys!

We managed to make it to the Semi Final but unfortunately the dragons don't buy our idea. Anyway congrats to the winning team who conquered the CEO Challenge! All in all, well done to all the participants, we have tried our best in realizing our business ideas and overcome the stage fright presenting to the Dragons!

Rendezvous for the CEO Challenge! We have tried our best and thanks to Izzat for the super awesome Rendezvous Website! Like what the dragons said, we need to come out a business idea and sell it to the investors in two days itself is not easy, we should be proud of ourselves that we've finally made it through!

The 15 of us who have been offered Axiata 8 weeks structured internship programme. I just tried my best throughout the camp and this is a surprise and bonus added, thanks for all the opportunities given. My philosophy is "when we do something, never expect things in return, just do our best and God witnessed it." When you expect the least, end up you will be rewarded the greatest return. :-)

Congrats to all of us!

Last but not least, never forget to mention about the Samsung Tab 3 from Axiata! We are so so blessed! Besides that, sleeping bag and power bank as goodies as well! They treat us so well! Offer us an opportunity to learn yet value all the participants welfare! The best Summer camp that we've gotten so far! 

I miss all of you and hopefully we can meet again! You guys are simply awesome. One day if any of you happen to be a CEO, don't forget to share the happiness with us! Axiata Young Leadership Programme aka aytp alumni is always there in Facebook group! Keep in touch guys! Take care!

Career Preparation Workshop - The Jewel of Kedah

Finally finally finally! You know what? These photos uploaded since morning 9am but I just start writing about it BECAUSE me here facing the super big problem of uploading photos to blogger! Thanks to Kwang Cher and Xuxu for the help. At least I know why is it happened!

I have google-d to look for reviews and many people are actually facing it as well. So bloggers who are using blogspot please take note, if you are uploading photos directly via blogspot then soon you will be facing the same problem like me! QUOTA EXCEEDED 1GB! Then you will have to think alternatives how to solve it! :-(

Kwang Cher and Xuxu are giving me different alternatives but me noob one ah..so end up I am going for Nana aka nanabwincess's suggestion which is sign up an account at Photobucket! Then copy the URL and paste it here! Alright..Xuxu said 2GB enough for me to used up for 3 years..DONE! Problem settled! I can't go off like this without it to be settled..cz I know the next time when I am super excited to draft a new post and same problem happened again...>< I am gonna SMACKED my lappie liao! Lol...

If anyone need help in the future, ask me, I am noob, but at least I experienced it earlier than you. T.T

Ta dang dang dang! I have mentioned before I went for a trip huh? Hehe...revealed here! It is actually a trip to Langkawi for training under USM program! I am so anticipating although I know I have to submit a 20% assignment on Thursday! But fine, I managed to finish them and submitted yesterday! *Happy girl now*

I am so happy to go for this trip lo..because

1. I have never been to Langkawi before! p/s Alright don't laugh at me..I know many of you go until want puke already! Haha..
2. I can go with friends! I love travelling with friends la seriously! 
3. A getaway from those stressful assignment! 

Ok, story about the trip liao..we depart at 11am from USM! Waiting for representatives from USM Health Campus and USM Engineering Campus to join us! This is a program which are having around 80 students from USM 3 different campus representatives. Excited la~

Yea yea! Going with Wai Yee, Jian Thyn and Chris! Not to mention, this is a 3 days 2 nights training workshop! *happy la us* The first time 4 of us travelling together..not bad though..we are very excited! Indeed four of us very cakap banyak also..non stop talking and story sharing through the 3 days program! Lol..

With the pretty and very-polite Wai Yee..*I should learn from her* She is very competent..one of the MPP representative from School of Management *another one is Chris*, Aiesecer, USM Convocation Vice President, CNY she got involved as well..and so on la..very keng one..Haha...and my marketing coursemate! :-) 

Please look at this scene. Is the Kuala Perlis port to Langkawi, damn pack la wei..We happened to wait around 20 minutes for the people to take off from the ferry then only we are allowed to on board.

Flooded with people! Here no fan, no air cond, no ventilation I guessed...hot die us..everyone keep sweating! 

But when you step on the ferry..AHH! Feels so good...cz is very cold..before we coming in, we keep asking around, got air cond, got air cond ah? Lol! 

Not bad la this ferry..quite huge, spacious, cold and clean as well..:-) Before I come, I thought the transport to Langkawi is like boat those type one..luckily it proves me wrong! Haha..I even bought the Travel Sickness Tablet just afraid I will puke due to sea sick! Lolol...*gai lo me*

Finally reach Langkawi and this is the resort where we are going to stay these 3 days!

The training workshop that we will be attending throughout the program! That is why last week I have no time to update my blog..cz away for too long..LOL!

How good if those cucuk udang selling in USM have such a big prawn..*daydreaming* Initially I asked myself to control...but end up...you know me la..like to eat...I think I eat the most among four of us! T.T

Breakfast breakfast! Love it..nasi lemak la..spaghetti la..wedges la..sausage la..salad la..everything that you need for an essential and energize breakfast is here! We are so happy and anticipate for the breakfast served! Especially Chris! Lol..

I told them I am desperately hoping to see sausages for the breakfast. Then, this jian thyn took a lot..we can't finish it, then he said, you said you like ma..nah eat loh...==" But we managed to finish it la!

-Internship preparation, so on and so forth. 

Seriously learnt a lot from her on how to write an effective resume to secure the interview opportunity, grooming, what is the questions that will be asked during interview session, how to answer those questions to impress the interviewers and so on. So now I am better prepared to handle my interview and resume in the future. :-) 

Visit to Puan Mary facebook page to know more about her. She is really a great speaker and nice person! Not to mention, she is trilingual in English, Malay and Mandarin, both written and spoken! She study Chinese till Form 5 lo! So impressive!

That's the end of the second day! We went to chill at the beach during night time. Please lo..go Langkawi must enjoy some time at the beach ma..how can we go back sleep early..Lol..don't thought we do something bad...Just some chit chatting with them before we leave la..but so happy to know all of you and let me know more about Engineering Campus! Lol..should visit some day before I graduate! 

Hunting for chocolate the third day! Not much time to take photos of every single thing..cz third day..RUSH MODE ON! We are like siao lang, rush here and there, cz no time to buy chocolate already..

Before I go, I told myself I won't buy anything, chocolate only ma..is not my favourite and I wonder why people can spend hours just to shop for chocolate..totally unreasonable..

But when I go...

Yes! Nobody can resist on chocolate! 
Yes! Shop for chocolate need to spend lots of time! Hahahaha...

Some of them to show you how cheap is it! And all these are my favourite! No money to buy them all..I have control already! Cz I have no idea how to carry them on the ferry! Damn, it is HEAVY!

Ferrero, perhaps an exclusive one? I don't know..I am not a Ferrero's lover! Lol..But is RM10 cheaper in Langkawi!!
